# 오늘 읽은 아티클 : npm init, npm create, npx(23.11.14)

## npm init 과 npm create는 같은 작업을 수행한다.

## npm과 npx의 차이

* `npm init 초기자`
* `npx 초기자`

초기자는 npm 저장소에 패키지를 올릴 때 이름을 `create-`로 시작하도록 약속되어있다. `npm init 초기자`(ex. gatsby 와 같은 패키지 명) 명령어를 입력하면 npm 저장소에서 해당 패키지를 내려받아 실행한다.

## npx는 npm 저장소에서 패키지를 내려받아 실행해주는 역할

그래서 `npm init 초기자` 는 `npx 초기자` 와 같은 동작을 한다.

## @latest를 붙이면 라이브러리의 최신 버전을 다운받게 되고,

## @latest를 붙이지 않으면 해당 컴퓨터에 캐시된 초기자가 사용될 가능성이 있다.

## package.json 파일로만 이루어진 완전 javascript 프로젝트를 생성할 수 있다.
